I figured that I should get in a couple if I can. I made the point before about a super spy needing his gadgets, well SPYRAL Super Agent sure doesn’t make them himself. That’s why we hired Quik-Fix!
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 “SPYRAL GEAR” card from your Deck to your hand. If this card is in your Graveyard and you control “SPYRAL Super Agent“: You can discard 1 card; Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field
Being the guy behind the GEAR, it only makes sense that he would be the searcher for GEAR. And similar to D/D Savant Kepler – he just needs to hit the field successfully. Then you can grab either Drone or Big Red.
He also can be special summoned from the graveyard by his own effect, discarding a card from your hand while you control a SPYRAL Super Agent.
There’s not really a ton to say about SPYRAL Quik-Fix. He gets your GEAR to you and he can get to the field – to get your GEAR to you.
Quik-Fix is not necessarily a complex “engine card” but he does provide a necessary function. See, of your two (current) SPYRAL GEAR cards one isn’t inherently better than the other. And both are useful mid-game/late-game cards. And without Quik-Fix you wouldn’t reliably get at either of them consistently.
When your opponent’s field is laid up and they’ve burnt out their backrow to pay for that big board, the idea that you can special Quik-Fix, grab a Drone, normal summon it, look at their top 3 cards, bury the best one, get another Super Agent on the field with a pop (if there is any backrow left), then sac the Drone to buff a Super Agent or …
If you dont sac Drone and have a Charming Resort Staff on board (this might require a Soul Charge to get such an eclectic mix of monsters) but in the event you manage such a board you could overlay Drone and Quik-Fix for:
SPICY TECH: Number 13: Embodiment of Crime. He has an extra effect if you control his counterpart monster but that’s not relevant. What we’re interested in is his effect that forces all of your opponent’s monsters into attack position. That way you get the most out of Charming Resort Staff. They’ll never see that one coming!
