What in Heaven’s name is this…
If you activate a Counter Trap Card, OR if you negate the activation of a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, while this card is in your hand or GY: You can banish 2 other Fairy monsters from your hand, field, and/or GY; Special Summon this card. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can add 1 “Parshath” card or 1 Counter Trap from your Deck to your hand
So that just happened. We’re going to be getting a new Structure Deck R and this one is Angels. It’s the new “Surge of Divine Light”.
Presumably, Angel Parshath is the boss monster of the new deck and there’s some things going on here.
Angel is a Fairy monster, Light attribute, Lv.9 with a 2800/2300 stat line. That’s all well and good and easily blends with most of the existing support.
Next up is the effect. So first up is special summoning, Angel Parshath can be special summoned from hand or grave when you negate basically anything other than a summon, by banishing two fairies from anywhere. So you’ve got good accessibility.
While on the field, Parshath deals piercing battle damage and when he does so you can add a Parshath or Counter Trap card from your deck to your hand.
So with solid details, accessibility, he furthers the deck’s theme, and has a design worthy of Final Fantasy. I’m looking forward to seeing how this all turns out.
